How far would you drive for great coffee?

When you travel, move to a new area or start a new job,  as coffee lovers, we tend to hunt for the best cafe’ close by. When you do discover that great cafe’, it’s pretty hard to go anywhere else.

Although I buy most of my coffee online, going to a cafe’ for a change of scenery and face-time is a need to keep my sanity. The closest, decent cafe’ is eight miles from me. If I’m out running errands, I’ll make a point to stop by “on the way” to my destination.

QOTD – How far will you drive to get your best cup of coffee?

I frequent them both a couple of times a month.I just visited a roaster who taught me a LOT last week — 250 miles round trip. This is why I need to open my own place…

That's great to have a place to wined down in such a fast-paced city.

I don't have a car, so I don't often drive out of the way for a cup of coffee, but I'm a firm believer in the importance of a neighborhood coffee shop. It wasn't until I found a coffee shop (that serves Counter Culture!) in my new NYC neighborhood that I felt “at home”.
