Jennifer Vaaler is a fellow Barista, coffee connoisseur and coffee blogger based in Raleigh, North Carolina. Her passions are coffee and writing. She has been in the coffee industry over seven years and featured in Coffee Talk Magazine. Coffee culture isn’t just about coffee. It’s a lively hood. One Jennifer takes very seriously. Experience
After going to school for English, discovering Secrets Of Strategic Copywriting, and working in various independent cafe’s, Jennifer knew she wanted to work within the coffee industry. She has taken the beginner and intermediate espresso classes at Counter Culture Coffee in Durham, NC. She has trained baristas, advised independent cafe’s with marketing strategies, written newsletters, fliers and web copy. She even tutored English, edited papers for college students, and business material for customers. Most recently, she was a Cafe’ Manager and Marketing Manager for a start-up local cafe’, Spy, where she was a Barista by herself, trained Baristas, wrote copy for the website and any print material needed. As well as created menus, and worked with vendors.
